He is the Founder and Senior Legal Consultant of Dar Al Haqooq Legal Consultancy LLC headquartered in Sharjah, as well as the Founder of AWA and Partners LLP (India), AWA LAW FIRM FZC (UAE), and EZ Legal Hire.
With over a decade of professional experience in cross-border legal advisory, Wahied specializes in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, intellectual property rights, cybercrime investigations, financial crime reporting, data privacy, and artificial intelligence law.
Early life and education
Abdul Wahied was born on 13 November 1991 in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir, India. He completed his secondary schooling at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Surankote (Poonch), before moving to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Chandigarh.
He pursued higher legal education at the University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh, earning a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (BA LL.B. Honours). To expand his expertise in international legal systems and technological regulation, he obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) with Merit from the University of East London. He subsequently completed another postgraduate LL.M. specializing in Technology and Artificial Intelligence Law from the University of Bradford, United Kingdom.

Abdul Wahied began his professional practice in the United Arab Emirates in 2015 as a Legal Consultant at Fathiyah Ali Advocates and Legal Consultants. During this tenure (2015–2017), he focused on corporate legal advisory, contract drafting, employment regulations, legal research, and litigation support services.
Dar Al Haqooq and legal-tech ventures
In 2017, Wahied founded Dar Al Haqooq Legal Consultancy LLC in Sharjah, UAE, serving as its Founder and Senior Legal Consultant. Under his guidance, the consultancy developed a practice integrating traditional corporate law with digital legal services, including virtual court integrations (E-Court systems), E-Police procedures, and 24/7 digital legal support.
To expand his practice internationally, he established **AWA and Partners LLP** in India and **AWA LAW FIRM FZC** in the United Arab Emirates.
